The Roman Food Tour is an American and British owned food tour operating in Italy. It was founded in 2013 by Joshua Elledge and Henry Cunningham. The company leads small group tours through the Roman neighborhood of Prati, promoting the slow food movement within Italian cuisine. Prati is a residential neighborhood dating back to the 1890s, located near to the Vatican City.

The Roman Food Tour has been featured in International newspapers and magazines, such as NordBayern.de and Harpers Bazaar. It is ranked in the Top 10 for "food and wine" in Rome on the website Tripadvisor.com.

Tour

The tours offer food and wine tastings in venues throughout the Prati neighborhood. Prati have several food establishments, with a devoted following among Romans in the know. Venues include “Pizzarium,” as featured on Anthony Bourdain. “La Tradizione” salumeria and “Mercato Trionfale,” have both featured in The New York Times. "Mercato Trionfale" is considered the first corner market in Rome and with 273 stalls it is the largest in the city. “La Tradizione” have recently opened a restaurant close-by called “Secondo Tradizione.”
