The Review of Black Political Economy is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal covering research on the economic status of African-American and Third World peoples that was established in 1970. It is affiliated with the National Economic Association and is published by Springer Science+Business Media.
The founding editor-in-chief was Robert S. Browne (Teaneck, New Jersey). The current editor-in-chief is Cecilia A. Conrad (Scripps College).
