The Nineties is an upcoming seven-part documentary miniseries to be aired on CNN in 2017. CNN greenlit the series in May 2016, as a followup to its The Eighties miniseries. Each episode will be thematic, rather than chronological. One episode will be on terrorism, focused on Columbine, Oklahoma City, Ruby Ridge, Waco, The Unabomber, and more.

Filming was underway in January 2017 in New York City. At the time, they did not have an air date, but were expecting to begin airing in late spring. The terrorism episode will include Juliette Kayyem and Dave Cullen.
