The New Shakespeare is a series of single play editions of the works of William Shakespeare, published by the Cambridge University Press between 1921 and 1969. The series was edited by Arthur Quiller-Couch and J. Dover Wilson. The last volume of the series was Henry VIII (play), edited by J. C. Maxwell in 1969.

The series was preceded by The Cambridge Shakespeare, 1863-1866 (see Shakespeare's editors.) The series was replaced by the New Cambridge Shakespeare, which started in 1984.
