The Nettle is a classical music band which consists of violinist Vladimir Klochko and pianist Sergei Smirnov.

Sergei and Vladimir were friends for several years, and one day they both had the idea to combine their talents and play music together.

Soon after, their first concert was arranged in Minsk, Belarus where they played Saint-Saëns - Rondo Capriccioso. This concert was a tremendous success, warmly received by the audience, and critics alike.

After that, they made their debut appearance in the halls of Paris and Oxford in early 2010 and since then have performed jointly at several concerts and recitals including Cambridge, Oxford.

As evidenced by their name, they excel at tackling very challenging musical pieces together, and interpreting them in a unique way. Their interpretation brings music to a whole new dimension that appeals to fans of all ages, backgrounds and musical tastes.
