The Mountain Astrologer (TMA) is a bi-monthly English language astrology magazine, written for professional astrologers and astrology students of all levels. It was the winner of the 1999 and 2000 Spica Awards for Best Astrology Publication. A review in Library Journal described it as "a thoughtful periodical, many heads above those found at supermarket checkout lines".
The magazine started out as an 8-page newsletter in late 1987. The magazine presents articles designed for professional astrologers. Its range extends to forecasts, listings of daily aspects and other astrological data, book reviews and humour. It also provides reviews for astrological software products.
