The Modern Teacher is a magazine for Filipino teachers. It features essays, stories, and poems written in both English and Filipino by Filipino teachers. It is published every month except April and May by the In the Grade School, Inc. with office at 647 P. Paterno Street, Quiapo, Manila. It was founded by Prof. Melquiades M. Castro and Victoria B. Castro. It is a member of the Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PAPI).
