The Martyr is a sculpture by Auguste Rodin. The sculpture was modeled in 1885 and depicts a naked dead or sleeping female figure in blackened bronze.

Originally conceived as part of The Gates of Hell, Rodin removed the figure, and created an enlarged independent version. The figure currently is held by The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
