The London Tigers is an English tournament paintball team founded in 1986 by Steve Baldwin. They were known as The Mayhem Tigers until 2003 when they changed name to become The London Tigers and are now one of the oldest tournament paintball teams in the world.

Timeline

  • 1986: Steve Baldwin founded Tigers under the name Mayhem Tigers.
  • 1990's: Pete Martin became captain and the team became professional.
  • 2003: The team changed name to The London Tigers so as to comply with the European Paintball Series rule which meant that all teams must be attached to a city.
  • 2004: The London Tigers took 3rd place in the European X-Ball League and won a place in the National Professional Paintball League (NPPL) for the 2005 season.
  • 2005: The London Tigers made the top 8 of the NPPL.
  • 2006 to present: The London Tigers have been competing in the European Millennium Series attended the PSP world cup both in 2009 and 2010 whilst at home have established a very successful second team now known as London Tigers 2.
