The Lazy Trader is an online trader training academy that provides education to both amateur and professional traders who want to trade financial markets. It was launched in 2012 by Robert Colville, BSc MSTA.

The Lazy Trader's 'set-and-forget' method, which involves both trend and reversal trading exclusively on the daily and weekly charts, embraces the concept of “making more from doing less” and claims to have trained over a thousand private investors worldwide. Robert Colville, who once worked on Live Trading Floor floor in 2009 having previously worked as a trader coach. He then went on to acquire accreditation from the Society of Technical Analysts (STA) in 2015. In addition, the company provides content to Forex news sites including FXstreet, The Money Show, Investopedia.com and Forex Peace Army.
