Profiles

The Hollins Technology College is a coeducational secondary school located in Accrington in the English county of Lancashire.

It is a community school administered by Lancashire County Council. The school has also been previously awarded specialist status as a Technology College, under headteacher Frank Havard. This effect took place in September 2001.

The current headteacher is Mr Stephen Campbell, whom replaced Mr Mark Jackson, who was appointed headteacher of Haslingden High School in March 2011. Mr Jackson took over from his predecessor, Mr Frank Havard, in September 2004. Mr Havard took over as headteacher in 1994, after being deputy headteacher for five years.

In June 2016, the school was recognised for 'exceptional' progress in GCSEs for the second year running.
