The Hacker Purity Test or Hacker Test is "a compendium of fact and folklore about computer hackerdom cunningly disguised as a test". It was written by Felix Lee, John Hayes, and Angela Thomas on June 16, 1989. It explains the typical skills and experiences of a person who considered himself to be a hacker at the time. It is considered to be a purity test by many.
