The Great S. Cape is an American comedy web series written by director Michael Uslan, who served as the executive producer on Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy. The Great S.Cape will be broadcast on the internet and will be exclusively premiering on Blip in 2013. Twelve episodes have been written and the filming started in April 2013.
The shows plot revolves around a superhero Stephen Cape played by South African Actor Ian Duncan, a magician and illusionist who applies his skills, and refusal to use a gun, to his new found mission as a private detective. When he stumbles across the most insidious murder plot in Hollywood, powerful forces set out to stop him at all costs. In an interview with Michael Uslan, he stated '"The Great S. Cape! marks the triumphant return of the chapter-by-chapter Saturday matinee movie serial of old that was dominated by superheroes like Batman, Superman and Captain America."
