The MSU Exponent is a student newspaper of Montana State University – Bozeman. It is offered weekly for free on and around the university campus. The newspaper is divided into news, sports, opinion, editorial, and culture.
In recent years, advertising sales have struggled due to the down economy and attempts to change the newspaper's image from one of a features-heavy magazine to one of more serious reporter investigated campus news.
