The Experiment is the debut full-length studio album by Australian electronic band Art vs. Science. The band confirmed on Twitter that it is due to be released on 25 February 2011. In December 2010, the album was made available to pre-order on iTunes. "Magic Fountain" and "Finally See Our Way" were released as singles in 2010, prior to the album's release.

About a week after its release, The Experiment debuted and peaked at no 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart, but dropped to no. 9 on its second week. It debuted at no. 1 on the ARIA Australian Artist Albums Chart, but dropped to no. 2 on its second week as well.
