The Diagnosis of Love is a chick lit novel by the American writer Maggie Leffler set in contemporary Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and in England.
It tells the story of Holly Campbell, a young doctor trying to run away from her mother's recent death and her own misadventures with romance. She answers an ad that seems to be the perfect escape: a residency program in rural England.
