Situated in Ilaro, Ogun, OgunState, Nigeria, The Dew Schools is a school that came as a result of a burden to see children of Nigeria taught and nurtured properly. The Proprietor/School Administrator, Mrs. Henrietta Chimezie Babajide, is an educationist who worked in the Federal Ministry of Education; Federal Government Girls College, Abuloma, Port Harcourt and Queen’s College, Yaba; an ex-WAEC examiner; member NERDC Senior Secondary curriculum review committee, 1999; Curriculum Organization of Nigeria (CON) and Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN). On retirement from the Federal Civil Service, she worked in three private schools and the trend in the events in many schools left a lot to be desired. With increase in examination malpractice, students losing desire and determination for hard work, it was time to make a difference—hence, the creation of the school.

The name of the college is derived from the Bible passage in the book of Micah 5vs7; "The Dew from the LORD that nourishes and refreshes."

The Dew Schools is a group of schools - the beginner (pre-school), the kindergarten, the primary, junior high and the senior high.

The school would be presenting their first set of seniors to sit for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). The school motto is "Godliness and Excellence."

Recently the school won awards at the just concluded National Chess Championship organized in Lagos, Nigeria.
