The Danish Animal Protection Act is a Danish law.

The law protects, as it's stated in ยง 1, animals living conditions with precepts about, an animal have to be treated properly and be protected in the best possible way against pain, suffering, anxiety, enduring bleeding or vital disadvantage.

Maximum penalty

If the animal is being treated irresponsibly, the owner will be punished with either a fine or get imprisoned for up to 1 year.
