The Current Sea is a creative agency based in Los Angeles. With co-creative-directors, Brian Griffith and Sarah Zucker, the duo is best known for creating animated gifs. They have expressed an aim to “explore the confluence of the analog and the digital.” The Current Sea also runs a monthly showcase of experimental gif art in Echo Park, Los Angeles, called Prism Pipe.
