The Bridge: The Building of the Verrazano–Narrows Bridge was a 1964 book by Gay Talese about the construction of the Verrazano–Narrows Bridge. The book is a straightforward journalistic account of the bridge's construction. It contains drawings by Lili Réthi and photographs by Bruce Davidson. The book was published shortly after the completion of the bridge. Because of Talese's later success, the book was reissued in paperback in 2003.
