While as a part of Rhapsody of Fire where he played guitar, Taca Heumemarerion formed The Kingslayer Saga in 1996 as a side-project. After the successful release of first their album Prophecy Fear, Towers saw the potential of Dungeon and left Dragons. The name was changed from to 'The Battle Saga' and the band signed to Vendetta Records.
