TextRecruit is a San Jose-based recruitment and human resources communication software company co-founded by Erik Kostelnik (CareerBuilder, Identified) and Jed Danner in 2014.

TextRecruit's self-titled mobile recruiting platform helps recruiters communicate with candidates via two-way text messaging to announce job openings, screen job applicants, and schedule job interviews. In 2015, TextRecruit launched TextApply which uses recruiting short code and keywords to attract talent to organizations (i.e. Text 'Jobs' to 55555 to Learn More About Career Opportunities). In 2016, TextRecruit announced the release of TextHR, a platform used by HR teams to communicate with employees via text messaging for onboarding, open enrollment, payroll, emergency preparedness, and more. These cloud-based platforms are accessible via the web or the IOS/Google Play mobile applications and are built to centralize team texting and ensure legal compliance. TextRecruit and TextHR can integrate with applicant tracking systems, human resource management systems, or can be used independently.

Active clients include Cracker Barrel, Con-way Truckload, VMware, Six Flags, Liberty Mutual, Next plc, inVentiv Health, Farmers Insurance Group, Aramark, CenturyLink, The Cheesecake Factory, and others. Strategic partners include iCIMS, Bullhorn, Greenhouse, and Beyond Career Network.

In 2015, TextRecruit won "Best Mobile Employee Engagement Platform" at the Mobile Recruitment Awards. In 2016, TextRecruit won Human Capital Software of the Year, B2B Startup of the Year and Tech Startup of the Year at the Stevie Awards hosted by the American Business Association. TextRecruit also won Startup of the Year at the International Best in Biz Awards.
