The Texas Governor's Unit Citation may be awarded to units of the State Military Forces of Texas.
Use
The Texas Governor's Unit Citation, is awarded for extraordinary valor or meritorious achievement during non-Federalized periods of service. Only on rare occasions will a unit larger than a battalion or group qualify for the award.
