Tenkinsky District (Russian: Теньки́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the eight in Magadan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 35,600 square kilometers (13,700 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Ust-Omchug. Population: 5,422 (2010 Census); 8,109 (2002 Census); 25,962 (1989 Census). The population of Ust-Omchug accounts for 72.2% of the district's total population.
