Tempe (Topical eutectic-like mixture for premature ejaculation) (PSD502) now branded as Fortacin is a product that can be used by men to help with the problem of premature ejaculation. It is manufactured by Plethora Solutions. The spray is a metered-dose aerosol containing a combination of local anaesthetics lidocaine and prilocaine that is sprayed directly on the penis to numb sensations. The drug has been approved in Europe and hit the UK market on 11th November 2016 and within the EU will be marketed by Recordati, early in 2017 In the United States, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is expected to approve the drug in 2018.

Fortacin is used by applying 1 dose to cover the glans penis. 1 dose equals 3 actuations. No more than 3 doses should be used within any 24 hour period. After application Fortacin has a rapid onset of action and is effective within 5 minutes.
