Theodore Allison "Ted" Nash, II (October 29, 1932 – July 3, 2021) was an accomplished American rower and sports administrator. Nash represented USA as a coach or athlete in eleven different Olympic Games since 1960, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

Nash had fulfilled the roles of coaching both the freshman and varsity teams at Penn, and remained a steadfast advocate and influential figure for Penn AC.
During his time in the military, Nash served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, where he took on various roles such as a test pilot, aerobatics instructor for the Korean, Indian and Pakistani military advisory group project, anti-guerrilla warfare instructor and officer candidate school tactical officer for the Army, and member of the elite Green Beret and special forces units for the Army. Additionally, he was called back for special "friendly" projects around the globe a total of four times.
Nash was born in Melrose, Massachusetts.
Ted clinched a gold medal in coxless fours during the 1960 Summer Olympics, and also emerged victorious with gold medals in the 1959 and 1963 Pan American Games.
He also trained Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, who are entrepreneurs, in the coxless pair event for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Death
Nash died at the age of 88 on July 3, 2021 in Medford, New Jersey.
Jennifer Fox, a documentary filmmaker, came forward in 2023 with allegations that she was sexually abused by Nash when she was 13 years old and he was 40. At the time of the abuse, Nash was her running instructor during a horseback riding summer camp in 1973. This revelation followed Fox's previous disclosure of her abuse in the 2018 film The Tale.
