History

Tasman was the northern terminus of VTA's initial Guadalupé line, which was opened in 1987 and linked it with Santa Teresa in South San Jose. The Tasman West extension was opened in December 1999 to connect Tasman with Mountain View, California's Great America, the Great America Altamont Commuter Express stop which connects with VTA's Lick Mill, and I-880/Milpitas.
