'Tarandowah Golfers Club located near #401 take the Putnam Rd exit #208 just south of the village of Avon, Ontario has 18 holes on 163 acres (0.66 km2) . Designed by golf course architect Martin Hawtree the course was named "Best New Course" in Ontario for 2008 by Ontario Golf Magazine and Fairways Magazine, and won Scoregolf Magazines 3rd place for "Best New" course in Canada.
Tarandowah Golfers Club is a par 70 of 5,380 to 7,067 yards and its "scratch" rating should be a minimum of 4.5 strokes over par, making it one of the most challenging tests of golf in the world. Its longest hole is #14 at 588 yards.
