Tankobu Peak (69°24′S 39°48′E) is a bare rock peak, 155 m, marking the north end of the Byvagasane Peaks on the east shore of Lutzow-Holm Bay. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37. Surveyed by Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE), 1957–62, and named Tankobu-san (craggy peak).
