Tangi Valley

Tangi Valley (also known as Wardak Valley or Tangi Wardak) is located in the south of Wardak Province in Afghanistan. It is devoid of central government process and is known for its resistance to invasion for the past two thousand years.

The Battle of Derapet and the Chinook Tragedy took place in the Tangi Valley.
