Tambovsky District (Russian: Тамбо́вский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty in Amur Oblast, Russia. The area of the district is 2,539 square kilometers (980 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Tambovka. Population: 22,671 (2010 Census); 25,049 (2002 Census); 25,683 (1989 Census). The population of Tambovka accounts for 33.6% of the district's total population.
