Take Five was the name of XM Satellite Radio's women's talk & entertainment. It was launched in the Fall of 2005 as XM's attempt to reach out to potential female subscribers. It heavily touted itself as the home of The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Tyra Banks Show's audio simulcasts. As the channel continued, the shining star of Take Five turned out to be XM's original show, Broadminded, which moved from nights to late afternoons to attract more listeners.

In 2006, Take Five added Good Morning America Radio to its morning drive slot. As of 2007-09-24, Ellen DeGeneres, Tyra Banks, and the Satellite Sisters are no longer broadcast on Take Five. Dr. Laura now airs in the afternoon slot from 3 PM to 6 PM eastern. Broadminded now airs at new timeslot in mid-days from 12 PM to 3 PM eastern.
