The Taiwan Trunk Line (southern section) (Chinese: 縱貫線 (南段); pinyin: Zòngguàn Xiàn (nánduàn)) is a line of the Taiwan Railway Administration in Taiwan. It is 188.9 km long with double track.

History

The line was completed in 1905. It is electrified (25 kV) with two tracks from Changhua Station to Kaohsiung Station. At the southern there is a connection to the Pingtung Line, on the northern end it split into two routes at Changhua Station: Coastal Line and Taichung Line (Mountain Line).
