Clifford Wesley "Tacks" Latimer (November 30, 1877 in Loveland, Ohio – April 24, 1936 in Loveland) was a professional baseball player who played catcher from 1898–1902.

After his playing career ended Latimer became a police officer with the Pennsylvania Railroad. In 1924 he was involved in a dispute with another police officer and shot him four times in the back. Latimer was found guilty of second degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. He was eventually pardoned in 1930 for his heroism during a prison riot.
