Tachystola acroxantha is a moth of the Oecophoridae family. It is native to Australia, but is an invasive species in Europe. It was probably imported with Australian plants.

The wingspan is 13–15 mm. The moth flies from May to September depending on the location.

The larvae feed on withered leaves and leaf-litter.
