Tabitha Cambodia is a non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of poor people in Cambodia. It was founded in 1994 by Janne Ritskes.

Tabitha Foundation Cambodia activities include:

  • Sustainable Community Development by encouraging personal savings
  • Cottage industry with products marketed around the world.
  • Wells for clean water, Ponds for irrigation.
  • House-building programs.
  • Schools, educating the next generation.
  • In progress is the building of a women's Hospital in Phnom Penh
  • Tabitha Cambodia trains local Cambodian staff in the implementation of its programs.

    Regional Organizations

    Tabitha Foundations around the world support Tabitha Cambodia through fundraising activities. The Foundations are run by volunteer boards and are registered charities in each of the countries in which they operate.

    House building teams come from around the world. Since 1994 9,882 houses have been built, and 18,487 water sources supplied. 69 schools have been built so far.
