TVX Callgirls Live was a British televised sex line broadcast on Television X 3 from 2005.
As of 2008 the show runs on Television X 2 and 4 from 9pm - 11pm (11.15pm on Friday and Saturday). The show continues on TVX4 for 15 minutes at 11pm when it becomes hardcore (based on R18 certificate). This encrypted section is used as a means of encouraging viewers to subscribe to the TVX package.
The difference between TVX Callgirls Live is it is significantly cheaper to call the premium phone line than other Televised sex lines.
The History of CallGirls
CallGirls first came onto Television X screens in late 2005 and was directed by Portway Productions. It originally started with two "Callgirls" - Avalon and Starr, but quickly grew to feature a number of different girls.
Original airtimes were between 10pm-12pm but then changed to 10pm-2pm (both on TVX1). As of August 2008 it will be shown 8pm with softcore content before 10pm on the new channel of TVX 3. It is now also available online on TelevisionX WebTV.
