TIM Group is a privately owned technology company, developing and operating web-based solutions for the financial services industry, based in The City of London. TIM Group's solutions are used by investment banks, brokerage firms, hedge funds, asset managers, and funds of hedge funds (FoHF) in the US, Europe and the Far East.

The company's software and services help investors achieve market-beating returns by connecting them with providers of investment insight.

On 15 March 2011, TIM Group merged with First Coverage, provider of web-based tools which provide an alpha capture system, a media sentiment engine, and meeting management tools. The combined company operates under the TIM Group name and provides a global network for institutional investors and brokerages. TIM Group was known as YouDevise Limited before 2011.

Products

TIM Ideas, formally known as The TIM, is a market-leading alpha capture system. Introduced in the U.K. in October 2005, it is now used globally by institutional sales traders and sales to communicate trade ideas electronically to their clients. The clients include alternative and traditional asset managers who use the application to view, measure, and reward appropriately for the trade recommendations provided to them.

TIM Investor is an investment decision support platform. It provides investment managers with key signals and analytics and provides access to an indicator that predicts short to medium-term stock price changes.

TIM Systematic is a suite of services provided to systematic fund managers to help them to define, plan and implement an alpha capture program to support their portfolio goals. Services include streaming of trade ideas directly into their trading systems via APIs, program management, contributor selection and broker relationship management.

TIM Funds, formally known as the HIP, is a portfolio management solution used by fund of hedge fund investors, and provided as a service by their administrators and custodians. On 28 January 2008 Northern Trust announced an exclusive, worldwide partnership with TIM Group. TIM Funds will be fully integrated into Northern Trust's single, global technology platform.
