DSK 6416 is a DSP Starter Kit by Texas Instruments. The kit has TMS320C6416 fixed point digital signal processor, a member of C6000 series of processors that is based on VelociTI.2 architecture.
Specification
The TMS320C6416 processor includes four multipliers that can perform multiplication of two 16-bit numbers and sixty-four General Purpose Registers. The extra registers gives the multiplier ability to perform four 8-bit multiplications in a single cycle. The processor has multilevel caches with Level 1 cache of 32 kB (16 kB program; 16 kB data) and Level 2 of 1 MB.
