The T Rider's Union is a committee of the New England-based public interest group Alternatives for Community and Environment that advocates for improved public transit services in the Boston, Massachusetts metropolitan area.
The T Rider's Union focuses on transit in lower-income communities and its primary goal is to further the cause of environmental justice. The group employs a number of different strategies including public demonstrations; a notable 2009 action was a Bake Sale for the MBTA to highlight the need for new revenue streams such as a gas tax.
The group is a member of a number of coalitions focused on transportation justice, including Boston on the Move, and Youth Way on the MBTA.
