The ruin of the Sweet Spring Palace (Chinese: 甘泉宫; pinyin: Gānquán Gōng) is a protected ancient monument located in Chunhua County, Xianyang, Shaanxi Province, Peoples Republic of China. The building, once a temporary imperial headquarters away from the capital (离宫, lígōng), dates to the Qin Dynasty (221 – 207 BCE) with later additions by Emperor Wu of Han in 138 BCE.
