Swansea Business School is situated in the city of Swansea, Wales, UK. It is based on the Mount Pleasant Campus of Swansea Metropolitan University and offers numerous undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses including the MBA. The School's head is Paul Osborne.
Swansea Business School achieved an "Excellent" grading for the quality of its teaching from the Higher Education Funding Council (Wales) and has a long and successful tradition of providing business education. The School, and the colleges that formed Swansea Institute of Higher Education, have existed for more than 150 years. All postgraduate and undergraduate qualifications are awarded by the University of Wales. MBA programmes have existed since 1991.
In May 2011, Swansea Metropolitan University acquired the former Land Registry Office a 65,000-square-foot (6,000 m2) building for 3 million pounds. The University plans to redevelop this building as the new centre for the Swansea Business School. This will be open by September 2012.
