Swammerdamia caesiella is a moth of the Yponomeutidae family. It is found from most of Europe to Japan. It is also present in North America, where it is possibly an introduced species.

The wingspan is 9–13 mm. Adults are greyish with a white head. They are on wing from May to June and again in August in two generations per year.

The larvae feed on Betula species. They feed on the parenchyma on the upperside of a leaf, beneath a silken web.
