In May 2005 elections were held for County Councils in England, including Surrey County Council. Shown below are the results for the Guildford electoral divisions of Surrey County Council. In the run up to the 2005 elections the boundaries for the electoral divisions in Surrey were redrawn. This increased the number of electoral divisions in Surrey, as a whole, from 76 to 80. Within the Guildford area the number of electoral divisions increased from 9 to 10.
