Supunna picta


Supunna picta is a spider commonly known as the bug-mimicking swift spider and is found commonly in Australia and New Zealand. This spider is identified by its orange front legs and the notable white spots on its back and back legs.

Size range: Small to medium spider. Body length 6-7 mm

Distribution: From Australia, found in New Zealand since 1943

Life History: Often seen hunting on open ground.
