Sunner (Punjabi: ਸੁੰਨੜ) is a Punjabi Jat gotra or clan found in the Punjab region of India. The Sunner clan is very rare and is mainly found in Jalandhar, Punjab. The two villages they are mostly from are Sunner Kalan and Sunner Khurd, which are in the Jalandhar district of Punjab. The Sunner wala village is located in Kapurthala district of Punjab as well. A lot of Sunner's have settled abroad in countries such as the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and the United States of America.
Religion
The Sunner Jats in Punjab are mostly Sikhs.
