Sun News (Tamil: சன் செய்திகள்) is a 24-hour Tamil news satellite television channel headquartered at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is a part of India's largest media conglomerate Sun Network, having a reach of more than 95 million households in India. Given it's strong affiliation to Dravidian Politics the channel is well-known for promoting the view of Church when reporting events related to KKNPP, the Sri Lankan Tamil issue, Jallikattu Protests, Hydro corbon extraction, Neutrino project and the Kachatheevu issue. It also report various issues related to Tamil Nadu in a way that create and fuel protests against the central government in the name of Tamil identity.
