Sumpiruni Aymara sumpiru hat (a borrowing from Spanish sombrero), -ni a suffix to indicate ownership, "the one with a hat") is a 5,063-metre (16,611 ft) high mountain in the Willkanuta mountain range in the Andes of Peru. It is situated in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, Macusani District. Sumpiruni lies west of Q'ataw Tira. This is where the Ninawisa River (Ninahuisa) originates. It flows along the southern slopes of Q'ataw Tira before it turns to the northeast.
