Sultanzade Alaeddin Bey Effendi

Sultanzade Alaeddin Bey Effendi (16 December 1861-1915) was the son of Münire Sultan, an Ottoman princess and Damat Ibrahim Paşa (1829 - 1880), the son of Cihan Serasker Hasan Rıza Paşa (1809 - 1877). Münire Sultan married Damat Ibrahim Paşa on 2 January 1861, after the death of her first husband Prince Ibrahim al-Hamy. Alaeddin was born in his paternal grandfather's Yalı at Üsküdar and was six months old when his mother died. In 1877, after the death of his paternal grandfather, he went with his father to Trabzon until the death of his father in 1880. Sultanzade Alaeddin Bey Efendi returned to Istanbul and died there in 1915. His present day descendants live today in Turkey and Germany.
