Sultan Al-Rashid Ma'moen Perkasa Alam (Jawi: مءمون الرشيد ڤركاس عالمشه ‎) was the 9th king of Sultanate of Deli (born 1853 - died 1924). His title after his death was Marhum Makmur.

Early life

He was born on Monday, 13 Zulhijjah 1271 H, became Sultan in 1879 at a young age, so that was formed consisting of Stakeholder King Tengku Soelaiman title Tengku Viceroy Deli, Tengku Soeloeng Laoet degree Prince Bedagai State Wazir Deli, and Tengku Abdurrahman title Tengku Temenggong Deli. After the king until the age of 17 years it was the king's ditabalkan State became the Sultan of Deli.

Sultanate Life

Lord Sultan Ma'moen Al-Rashid Perkasa Alam established a palace in the Kampung Bahar on Thursday at 12 in 1886. Then in 1888 by the Dutch, the lord put themselves first stone to build Maimoon.

1891 is on Monday right at 1 o'clock noon, Sultan moved from Kota Bahari palace to Maimoon Palace on Saturday, 16 May 1903 also established a Court or the Office of the Sultan in the density of the king (now- Court Street). Also later on 21 August 1906 began laying the first stone for Establishing Great Mosque of Medan City Ma'sum and used for the first time that prayers on Friday, 10 September 1909.

Tuanku Sultan Abdul Aziz Abdul Jalil Rahmatsyah Sultan State Langkat and Sultan Sulaiman Syariful Alam Sultan State Serdang also attended Friday prayers at the Grand Mosque's prime. During the his government he brings many public facilities for the better of society and build Mosques which amounts to approximately 800 pieces for the sake of Islamic religious symbols at that time. The noble died in 1924, leaving three sons and five daughters. The deceased was buried in the Great Mosque Ma'sum City, Medan.
